We take pride in being upfront with our clients and easy to work with, which is why we’re clear about our working practices right from the start.
Our copywriting process
Step one: Request a copywriting quotation
Get in touch and let us know which copywriting service you need (website, blog post, press release etc.), give us a brief description of your project (one or two paragraphs is fine), your approximate word count and your deadline.
If you require website writing, please list the pages you’d like us to write (e.g. home page, about page, product page, etc.) and let us know your approximate word count for each page.
Once we have all your info, we’ll email a written quote for your project along with a service agreement, so you know exactly what to expect if you decide to work with us. The service agreement will include information about the timeframe of your project, the number of reviews included in your quotation and our terms and conditions.
Step two: Nailing down the brief
At Eight Moon Media, we have a great briefing system that’s designed to make things easy for our clients.
We start by asking you a lot of questions about your organisation and your customers. These questions provide a framework for your brief to us, and make it easy for you to cover everything we need to know.
Step three: Discussing tone of voice
Before we write your copy, we’ll provide you with a proof of style to review and approve. This is a short sample of writing that we’ll use to establish the tone of voice for your project. Once you’ve approved the style proof, we’ll write your copy and send it over for you for review.
